The StrategicPay® Series is a series of hands on, "do it yourself" ("DIY") Toolkits designed to help HR and compensation professionals do work that is
normally hired out to compensation consultants. We call it "compensation consulting at your fingertips..."

StrategicPay binderHistory

The StrategicPay® Series grew out of recognition for the need of business, HR, and even compensation professionals to be able to learn to build comprehensive strategic compensation programs, without having to spend tens of thousands of dollars on compensation consulting fees to achieve their objectives.

Compensation consulting is our passion, but we realize that many small to medium sized organizations don't have the internal expertise and/or the financial resources to build these complex programs without outside expertise.  So, the developers and authors of the StrategicPay® Series have stepped in to fill that void; to make the expertise, resources, tools and templates used by highly-experienced compensation professionals and consultants available to business, HR and even some compensation  professionals that would otherwise need to hire outside expertise and/or attempt to develop these business-critical programs without the benefit of expert insight and advice.

These realizations formed the basis for the StrategicPay™ Series, which has been in development for well over over a year before the first module (the Base Pay Toolkit) was published in June of 2009, and completely revised and re-published in January or 2010.

As of this writing, four other toolkits are under development, to cover other core areas of compensation and rewards program development (cash incentive programs, executive compensation, performance management and long-term incentive programs for pre-IPO companies).

Thank you for your interest in the StrategicPay® Series, which has been our "labor of love" to bring real compensation and rewards expertise to the masses.

To your success,

Doug Sayed, SPHR, CCP

StrategicPay® Series developer, Base Pay Toolkit lead author, and overall series editor
